Pumpkin Seed Oil

Pumpлin Seed Oil is a herbal product having a complex composition.

Description: Oily liquid of dark green color with characteristic smell; little residue, disappearing after shaking, is possible.

Pumpkin Seed oil is obtained by cold pressing of pumpkin seeds (Cucurbita pepo L., Cucurbitaceae) and is used as a substance for manufacture of medications.

General properties:

Fatty acid composition of the oil:

• Myristinic acid - 0,5 %;
• Palmitinic acid - 8-12 %;
• Palmitoleic acid - < 0,5%;
• Stearic acid 4-7 %;
• Oleic acid 22-36 %;
• Linoleic acid 35-55 %;
• Alpha-linolenic acid < 1 %;
• The rest < 1 %.

It also includes tocopherols, carotinoids (lutein and beta-carotene), chlorophyll.

Pumpkin Seed Oil contains a rich complex of vitamins А, В1, В2, В6, С, Р, Е (min 50 mg/100 g of oil), РР, as well as naturally balanced groups of biologically active substances: phospholipids, flavonoids , tocopherols, carotinoids, saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, mineral compounds, microelements (zinc, iron, calcium,magnesium) and other useful substances.
