The use of Bioprost® in the treatment of chronic prostatitis

Modern schemes of the treatment of different forms of chronic prostatitis attach a great importance to vegetable drugs which possess efficiency, safety and a possibility of durable use as their distinctive features. The rectal suppositories Bioprost® belong to this group of medicinal products. Bioprost® contains two active ingredients: pumpkin seed oil, which contains a complex of microelements (selenium, zinc, copper), vitamins Е and А; and thymic acid which acts as an antiseptic.

During the clinical trials of Bioprost® 73 patients having chronic prostatitis were examined and observed. The instruction for the medicine intake was as follows: 1 suppository 1 time a day before going to bed 20 days. 60 (82%) of the patients felt much better, symptoms of chronic prostatitis disappeared and laboratory and instrumental analyses were good, which was considered a positive result. 13 (18 %) of the patients had a satisfactory reaction to the treatment with Bioprost®. While evaluating the efficacy of the treatment, no side effects were registered.

So, Bioprost® is an effective and safe medicine, which can be used in the combination therapy of chronic prostatitis.
